How to Install a Kitchen Basket Drawer

In this guide we show you how to install a kitchen basket drawer. To begin with you need to have the external cupboard built; then follow these instructions to install the drawer.

  1. Measure 4cm from the bottom of the cupboard and mark a line along at this height in pencil.

  2. Mark the line at 3cm, 7cm, 25cm and 29cm along the line, and drill holes at these points.

  3. Remove the runners from the basket and fix into place within the cupboard, using the holes you’ve just made.

  4. Mark the halfway point in the door and use the key in the instructions to determine what length to mark from this point on either side.

  5. Measure the depth of the door and use the key in the instructions to determine what length to mark from each edge.

  6. Drill holes at these points.

  7. Affix the white plastic bolt to the fixings of the basket, and then screw into place using the holes you’ve just made.

  8. Use the bracket provided to affix the top of the basket into place on the door.

  9. Now slide the basket drawer into place in the cupboard.
